Muizenberg Beach
Our 2nd day we set out to see Cape Point which is where the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans meet. We drove along the coast the whole time. My favorite beach was in a town named Muizenberg. As we were driving past this beach we saw 2 groups of men pulling a rope in from the ocean. We decided to get out and realized that the ropes were attached at opposite ends to a huge net. So naturally we began helping them pull in the nets.
By the time we got the net to the beach there were about a hundred people there helping. They had a truck there and said that usually they get enough fish to fill the back, but today there was not more than a few handfuls of fish. There were many sting rays, but apparently they have to throw those back.
Next we went to Boulder Beach to see the African penguins (I didn't realize that they have penguins in Africa so it was a fun surprise...they are my favorite!!!)

This place is amazing!!!!
Finally we made it to the top of Cape Point. There is a light house at the top and a gorgeous view from every direction. The color of the water is unreal, by far the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We ate lunch overlooking the two oceans. I don't think we have eaten inside since we got here.

On the way home we stopped at another beach, went shopping, and ended the day at another restuarant on the beach watching the sunset.
In South Africa they call french fries: chips, flashlights: torches, and honking: hooting.
