Ben is a huge BYU Football fan, so every time they come to Colorado it is a big deal. Ben, Nick, Anna, Ryan, Katelyn, Sam, Bryce and I all piled into the Tahoe and took a road trip down to Colorado Springs. We completely underestimated the traffic (which was a nightmare). We met Kathy and her family at a McDonalds on the way into Colorado Springs. Luckily we got there just in time to see the jets fly bye. We didn't get to our seats until the first quarter was almost over (which was the only good part of the game for BYU).
The game was a complete disaster for BYU, but we still had fun. The highlight of the game was that the kids got their picture taken with Cosmo the Cougar.
If you ask me, I think he is a kind of creepy looking mascot!!!
