Take me out to the ball game

Last week Ryan had the week of his life. He loves baseball and was at Coors Field four times.
On Tuesday night, he was invited to go with his friend Blake and his parents to their box seats. Although I was excited he had this experience, I had tickets for the next nights game and my tickets weren't nearly as exciting!!!

On Wednesday, just as Katelyn, Ryan, Blake and I were getting downtown it started raining. Afternoon and evening rain in Denver is not uncommon and usually doesn't last long so we continued to the stadium. After sitting in the stands for 2 hours, they still had not cancelled the game but I was ready to go. Notice the tarp over the in-field in the background.

On Thursday, Jeff and Ryan went to the makeup game. Jeff said that Ryan was the loudest fan in the crowd.On Saturday, Ryan, Katelyn, my dad (grandpa) and I went to the game. Although they are not box seats, Ryan loves our seats because they are between third base and left field. We are really close to Matt Holliday who is Ryan's favorite player. With a bag full of snacks, nachos and hot dogs, Katelyn made it the whole game. (That is a first)
Even though the Rockies only won 1 of the 3 games, Ryan loved every minute of it!!!
