After school yesterday when Jeff picked Katelyn up from school she told him that she wanted to go over to my house. Jeff dropped her off for an hour and when he left she told me that something awkward happened at school.
Justin had kissed her at recess!!!
He went to kiss her on the lips, but she turned her face so that he kissed her cheek. She said that would just be too gross on the lips.
"I had my first kiss...well except for you and dad."
I asked her if she wanted him to kiss her and she said she wasn't sure. I told her to tell him that her mom said that she is not allowed to kiss a boy until she is 20...just like her mom :o)
This seemed to help because she didn't want to hurt his feelings.
She was too embarrassed to tell Jeff. It makes me feel so good that she still wants to tell me everything. I hope that it never ends!

How cute...and even cuter that the secret was reserved just for mom! Things like this make you realize how time is flying by. Next thing you know she will be 20 and kissing all the boys! :)
