Santa Claus is coming to town

Christmas Morning we all woke up early. Ryan and Katelyn waited patiently on the stairs while I went down stairs to turn on the Christmas lights and make sure that Santa had come.

Notice their new jammies that they opened on Christmas Eve.

We all went down stairs and found our stockings. Santa tried to get off cheap this year and got the kids MP3 players for Christmas. After 2 uncles, 1 cousin and I sent all day on Christmas trying to figure out how to get the music on them we decided to exchange them for ipod shuffles. (Thank godness Santa left the receipt).

Ryan and Katelyn were most excited to open their presents that Grandma and Grandpa Tenney had sent from South Africa.

Katelyn got a cool African purse...

and Ryan got a South Africa hat with animals.
After all of the presents were opened I asked the kids if they got everything that they wanted for Christmas and they were so grateful and said yes!!
Music to a Mother's ears.
I asked them if they would help me get the laundry out of the dryer in the basement and they actually happily went downstairs to help. When they got there they found this...

ROCK BAND!!!

We spent the rest of the day rocking out. It was definitely a good time had by all.

It's a good thing they were so willing to help with the laundry or your plan would have backfired. What a fun idea.

I'm pretty impressed that you guys were planning Ryan's party for six months. Kaleb's b-day is next week and I still don't know what we're going to do for it. I'm such a slacker!:)
